Electrician

Job Description

1) Shift-wise electrical equipment operation & maintenance of LT/HT systems. 2) Breakdown troubleshooting of motors, MCC panels, PLC panels, VFDs, and field instruments (electrical side). 3) Preventive & predictive maintenance of electrical equipment as per schedule. 4) Safe isolation, LOTO implementation, and permit-to-work compliance. 5) Inspection of hazardous area electrical fittings (Flameproof/Ex-proof). 6) Motor, pump, blower & compressor electrical checks (current, voltage, insulation, alignment support). 7) Cable laying, glanding & termination as per standards. 8)Panel housekeeping, cleaning, tightening of bus bars, contactors, relays. 9) Earth pit testing, earthing continuity and lightning arrestor checks. 10) Support for project works, erection & commissioning of new equipment. 11)Maintaining logbook, checklists & electrical maintenance records. 12)Ensuring compliance with electrical safety practices as per IEC/IS standards. 13) Monitor HT/LT switchgear, transformer parameters, capacitor banks, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution boards. 14) Record motor load, voltage, current imbalance, temperature rise. 15) Ensure stable power supply for reactors, pumps, agitators, centrifuges, dryers, scrubbers, distillation columns etc. 16) Handling electrical breakdown Maintenance.

• ITI/Electrician
