Senior Maintenance Fiiter

Job Description

1. Strong Technical Knowledge Demonstrated solid understanding of mechanical maintenance, alignment, and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of rotating & static equipment—pumps, gearboxes, blowers, valves, and piping systems. Clear understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. 2. Practical Hands-On Skills Confident in dismantling, inspection, and reassembly of equipment. Performed well in explaining shaft alignment, bearing fitting, and lubrication practices. Good experience in using tools like dial gauge, feeler gauges, and torque wrench. 3. Safety Awareness Strong awareness of LOTO, PTW, PPE usage, and safe working practices. Understands job hazard identification and compliance with plant safety standards. 4. Problem-Solving Ability Gave precise examples of breakdown handling and root-cause identification. Shows logical approach in troubleshooting equipment failures. 5. Work Attitude & Reliability Positive attitude, disciplined, and ready for shift duties. Good communication and willingness to learn new systems. 6. Experience Suitability Past experience aligns well with current job requirements. Exposure to chemical/industrial plant environment is an added advantage.
